The House continually reaffirms its strong commitment to a sustainable future and to the responsible production of champagne, relying on multiple initiatives implemented across every area of the company.
This approach is recognized since 2022 by the B Corp certification, awarded to companies that, like Piper-Heidsieck, actively contribute to a global movement in favour of a more inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.
Once certified, B Corp companies must continue to meet demanding standards and demonstrate concrete progress every three years to renew this international certification. In 2025, Piper-Heidsieck was recertified with a significantly improved score: 102.6 points compared to 91.9 in 2022, an increase of 10.7 points. This recognition confirms its ambitious CSR roadmap and demonstrates continuous progress with clearly defined short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals; but also, tangible and significant results that are already visible.
Acquiring the certification is an extensive process involving the assessment of each brand’s social and environmental influence with more than 200 questions as defined by B Lab, covering governance, employees, communities, and the environment.
